Hi, I am Rational Spirituality,
Only an idiot's road to hell could be paved with good intentions, and even then he would be forgiven, because he did not have the capacity to bear full responsibility for his deeds and decisions.
According to God's laws, the intent is more important than are the outcomes of the actions.
Those people who are meaning well, and ask consciously or subconsciously for Divine guidance, rarely make a major mistake in their judgments. It is the people who believe that they know it all, and try to play Gods based upon their inflated ego, that cause most of the suffering and evil in the world.
Hell is a state of consciousness that a Soul driven by Ego and greed brings upon themselves.

Hell the lie itself was created with the sole intention of keeping people bound to the religions . the intention might have been good or bad according to the persons whio did it .for the sake of the religions . so it is paved with the good intention of benefitting the religion!

What's so "good" about ending up in hell? A road that leads to hell with "good" intentions? Based on what?

Hi, good question this, I think that we can get bogged down with trying to be perfect when we can really only do our best each day
to be faithful.
there is only one way to end up in hell and that`s by stubbornly refusing Gods love and salvation right to the end, this is the ultimate act of rebellion and the sin against the Holy Spirit, mentioned in the Gospel, because Jesus said that all sins will be forgiven except this sin.
to err is human and to forgive is divine,we in our human weakness sometimes drop the ball , our good intentions are just that Good to begin with, and you can only do your best to complete them as promised.

As a society yes, because then you are putting your trust in people who say they have good intentions.. As an individual, you have control, so if a persons intentions are good, hopefully they will have planned to make sure what they want to do does less harm than what they are trying to achieve.

ABSOLUTELY NO....
Making a conscious choice to do wrong is...just bad karma ma man...
The brain "rewires" itself throughout our whole lives. What are you thinking that brings you closer to having bad wiring?
We are electro-chemical machines. Every thought, feeling or mood is an exact concoction of electro-chemical actions in your brain.
Being truthful with others and yourself will guide you to a much greater place in life. Your good value's and belief's will wire the brain into it's intended design. You will "draw closer to the one".
After your life draws to a close, "if" you can look back and say ,"I did my best" then you can smile and leave the rest into his hands.
Hell is "being farther from the one who is the source of life".
Temptation is doing anything that alters your thoughts from good or brings harm to the body of "any kind".
As more people die around you, you realise the greater value in "living" and how it is a precious gift.
You are a survivor. It is built-in to us all. Why do I fight for life when I am so sad with it all?..................
Attitude is the "key" to life. Attitude is the "key" to life....It's not just what you think, but the "mood or emotion" aka attitude you have with those thoughts and good acts. Being healthy is "thinking happy". Being happy is a "state of mind".......An attitude......The "key" to life....
I am designed for survival......to live. Let me live closer to my creator that I may see the meaning in it all by serving and blessing all that I see.
Have a Happy Life My Friend.............:)

Good intentions are not enough there should be good deeds also.
But good intentions are better than bad intentions.
In Islam if you intend to do good thing but you didn't you will be rewarded if you did it you will rewarded at least 10 times.
If you intend to do bad thing and you didn't you will be rewarded for leaving this bad action. If you did the bad thing you will be punished.

No.
I've never bought that. I think good intentions are what seperate us from evil-- and sometimes things don't work out, but we shouldn't blame or punish ourselves for things out of our control. Good intentions lead to good results. Not hell.
