My bf is soo old fashioned and sometimes seems to be all for himself , where as i am out to help others before myself ( to a cerain extent),, he's had a very sheltered life where as i have had a pretty rough time(not that im complaining) sometimes i think he's got no passion for anything other than himself but i kinda blame his upbringing and the fact that nothing really bad has ever happened to him.. whats your opinions and experiences??

Yup...if you happend to believe in star sign, cancer and sagittarius are not a match in heaven because both are so different; one's always rushing the other one like taking it slow and cautious, one's direct the other one like to keep inside and unpredictable, one's taking action through intelectual the other one through emotion....but these are the reasons why both of them are attracted to each other in the first place. i dont know about opposites but i can tell ya age up bringing and those things count ive been rich and poor and id say i was happer being poor ! thats when the tough get going when ya down and out ! pull together or pull apart !

You have to open up to each other, maybe with counselling.
Some differences are nice, maybe neccessary, but also common ground is very neccessary.
Why not suggest doing volunteer work together, helping those less fortunate?
