That's what Lord Krishna tells in Bhagavad Gita. Why dont you read that. If you are seeking the essence, then it is mentioned in the conclusion, the last chapter (18.65)...

"Always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me and offer your homage unto Me. Thus you will come to Me without fail. I promise you this because you are My very dear friend."

But if you ask - Why should I do that ? then the whole Bhagavad Gita simply answers that.

And Krishna is GOD .. a 2 months old child cannot kill a giant deamon as Putana..

Dear Friend, translating Lord Krishna's message in Bhagwat Gita to our lives would require a great deal of wisdom. To live this life without being absorbed into the daily trivial activities is itself difficult, what to say thinking of moving into the higher level of contemplation?. But, by sadhna, un wavering devotion and detachment with the worldy affairs (while indulging in them wholeheartedly at a given point of time) - one can live a life as Lord Krishna had explained in Bhagwat Gita.

But the big question is that "Is anyone ready for it?

If we truely understand Krishna, we would be able to live life perfectly in Kaliyuga...also we can tread faster on the path of spirituality

Krishna taught, we should fulfil our duty without any attachment to fruits of our deeds

We should See clearly the 3 gunas doing the Karma, not us...thus detaching from both good and bad karma and becoming free from the chain of karma

Krishna also taught to fight the enemy(Negativity) without attachement of hatered...and love the positive without attachement of love

Krishna never professed leaving the world and taking refuge in jungles and becoming sanyasi...instead he taught to be among the friends and enemies without attachment to both..which is more difficult and more progressing
