um, by the appearance of your spelling, i think it's taken hold already. i kid, i kid....it takes a few weeks, and you should be able to notice that you're feeling better. i hope it helps you...it made a world of difference for my son...he's been on lithium for over 10 years. a lot of ppl tend to want to stop taking it after they start feeling "normal" (for lack of a better word). do not stop taking it without your docs approval. good luck with this.
