Why can't he just be my friend..even though he knows I am in love with another guy and after I thought he would think I was teasing him I even told him I could never love him! If he was a real friend can't he accept that instead of running away like a child? Why can't he tell me what wrong?

sounds like the guy is really into you and just can't seem to get over it. for some people, there can't be a gray area, they're either with you like they want to be, or they can't be around you. ive met people like that before, and it's always frustrating and hard to get along with them and have normal relaionships because they're like that. if you told him you can't be with him, and he knows you are in love with another, it's no longer really your problem to deal with. granted, i'm sure you want to be friends with the guy, and i think as a decent human being anyone would want to help him, but there's nothing you can do now. it's all up to him to see if he can actually overcome his stubbornness and a friend, or if he can't and just has to seperate himself from you. i hope he makes the right choice, good luck to both of you.

Pity him rather. In a love triangle, the person at the end of the triangle will naturally feel bad. You want to cajole him with friendship, whereas that will not satisfy. Give him time to cool it off. Take him back as a friend, when he comes back to you as a friend. Time is the great healer and the leveler.

Sometimes, you can't help who you like even if you know that you can't be with her. Being around you probably hurts him. You should give him some time and space instead of pressuring him.
