It will take more than a wall. It is a step in the right direction, but, there should be more room in those jails for the Employers who buy to have those illegals here. We keep the illegals to long in our jails. Bus transportation out of the country and sending the bill to whatever country they came from would be cheaper. Maybe that way those countries would have an incentive to stop these people from leaving their countries illegally in the first place.

The only solution to the immigration problem is not to go after the Mexicans, or build a wall to keep them out. These are just smoke screen solutions that will not work. The reason Mexicans come here is for work and pay. That is their "demand" Employers in the US provide the jobs, the "supply" If you want to stop Mexicans from coming, prosecute and fine the employers who hire them. That is much cheaper and more humane than border guards and a fence. Remember the Berlin Wall? If those who wish to profit from the cheap labor of illegals were really prosecuted and fined, there would be no work for the illegals, and they would stop coming. It might be worth asking why this is not being done or discussed, but as it is about money, and we have "the best politics money can buy," I am not surprised.

The wall will cost billions more and billions in repairs probably. And billions still on those jails probably. We need to get Mexico to do some work too. Have their government help to stop them. In some cases Mexico government is actually helping people cross border illegally.

At least 30% of all inmates in our jails are for crimes committed by illegal immigrants and they should be punished for these crimes. However, all illegal immigrants should be returned to their own country and made to wait in line to enter legally.

All employers and persons who rent or provide shelter for illegals should be charged with harboring criminals because entering illegally and costing us all is a crime.

This is the only way we can get a handle on this before we become another third world country.

It's a spin on the numbers, just like it is a spin to say "reform" instead of "amnesty", this is politics, instead of them just saying the truth about the numbers and then actually dealing with this issue, no they have to lie to the American people and the politicians are trying to figure out how they can capitalize on this situation, it is an insult to our intelligence.
