Many people put a lot of stock in family, not just boys.... not sure how old you and he are, but following your 'heart' doesn't mean you ignore common sense or rational thinking. And if his parents are older and 'wiser,' he may be looking toward that experience.
Or he simply evaluated what he wants in life and decided that being lovers isn't mutually beneficial.

Coz they feel tht its their responsibility to look after their parents once they r old enough. And i think they r right.Evn us girls also should giv priority to our parents coz they have given us everything till this time.Even the so called "heart" is with you coz they have looked after you so well. But however, the way he refused from being lovers after such a long time......its not a right thing. He could ve made it clear before itself.

He's just not that into you. It sounds like he's using his parents as an excuse to get out of being with you because he's and can't tell you the truth. Or he doesn't want to tell you he's just not that into you. Or he's just a momma's boy who does whatever his momma says and she doesn't like you. Whichever way you slice it, I say it's time to move on, darlin'. Find someone else and tell this guy to save the drama for his momma.

Everyone has the right to set his or her own priorities. If this person has chosen to obey his parents rather than stand up for his relationship with you, there is nothing you can do about it. You can, however, find yourself someone who has actually completed the growing-up process and is man enough to run his own life.

That is the order of the day, in India. I am surprised about that in your country. Well. Boys generally are traditional, in any culture. They are not sure of their choice. Hence, they always seek someone else's help, in making up their mind. Parents are their natural counselors. Girls on the other hand, are hankering after freedom. In love, it is their fiefdom. It is in this arena, they can show their complete power of dominion over men. Hence, the difference.

Same thing happened to me. Some people are weak and cannot make major decisions on their own.
You probably need a man that can make his own decisions.
If he was just saying that as a cop out, you still didn't need him.
What a chump!

Well he might be wanting to respect something his parents asked him to do. Like my mom asked me to wait til I was atleast 18 to lose my virginity, which I agreed. And I did infact wait. Maybe his parents want him to wait til a certain age, or until he is married.

Obviously his parents are trying to protect him. Apparently they raised him right. He probably made the decision with his brain, as his heart cannot think.

boys follow their parents ..because mostly the parents always have great hopes from there sons..not form their daughteres. so to fulfill their hopes..and secondly the boys are not grounded like girls ... girls are more strong than boys..
