Hi well I hear ya but this is what baby ducks do to keep in touch with all the others in the brood & their mother..so until it gets a little bigger I guess you will be listening to chirp chirp for a while to come...

I don't really know why or how to stop it, but I remember when we had ducklings we kept them in a kids swimming pool in the garage. They had a heat lamp to keep them warm. I don't remember them being really loud.. If you don't have a heat lamp, that might help, maybe its warm like there mom. Well good luck to you. Hope she quites down soon.

it is not your fault. incredibly, I relatively have 4 geese myself. while one replaced into genuine small i took it exterior and a hawk have been given it. i replaced into genuine unhappy yet then have been given 2 extra geese. geese are very ''unfastened'' creatures they % to wander around plenty. They consistently land up getting injury yet this is basically a geese life. don't sense undesirable approximately your self because of the fact a duck died. you may get geese at agway so perchance you need to think of a bout that if it would make you sense extra desirable. i might consistently take my geese on the mattress and carry them.

I know what you mean... have 2 cocateels, 2 love birds, and a parakeet. (And feeding a family of about 50 sparrows). They're all noisy and you either get to love them or get rid of them. It's up to you. (My biggest problem is the fighting roosters crowing at 2:30 AM).
