I'll put it down to personal preference really not all women like the feel of all that hair down there...but also some shave/wax to make it more appealing to the eye and others shave/wax for hygiene reasons especially after the end of their cycles cause you can wash all you like there's still gonna be something trapped in all that hair.

Hair is natural. Leave it alone, let it grow. I don't want to go down on a woman and find she shaved off her pubes, it takes all the fun out of it. I like hair, hair helps hold natural smell. Who wants bald snatch, except pedophiles? Real men want a real woman.

becuz back then sex wasnt so overated now it is, alot of pornography showing woman cleaning more, so it makes the guy curious to try different ways of the women being clean down there from hairy to bald to the strip to having designs to coloring etc the g-string looks sexier of course with a clean look, and its more pleasing for the man instead of him feeling like his eating a rug, and anyways hair is nasty, makes a smell, it itches, get more disease, since alot of people dont clean down there everyday with water, so in general its just something different and to have that nice feeling of looking sexy and clean

I guess some women shave it because they feel more comfortable,
other because the think it looks better or maybe because her friend or somebody else did it! There isn't only an opinion, different people think different!

Just like any fad. This practice comes and it goes just like bell bottom blue jean, disco, and tye dye.
Give it another couple of years it and will be fashionable for a women to be hairy again.
