If the atheist was cool with getting married - sure.
Marriage is, afterall, a Christian mechanism.

Never. It would be the step into a disasters marriage. Why would anyone do that to themselves? Marriage is the union of two people who are in love, have respect for one another, trust each other, have the same values, the same goals in life. When you are radically different, it is a red flag it won't last. When trauma occurs, something that would be so difficult to endure, a death, tragedy, an accident, illness, a Christian turns to their faith, what does an atheist turn to, oh, well, that is part of life? You have two people at different ends of the spectrum.

No! I would never marry a man who did not follow the ways of God. I am married though, to a wonderful Christian man who believes the same as I do.

My Aunt did and they lived happily until my dear uncle died last year at the age of 80. They were married for 60 years. He is my favorite uncle and I miss him so and so does my aunt. You people just don't understand human beings. They were in love. She wasn't looking for a Christian, she was looking for a man to marry and they fell in love.

No, not intentially. Did my marriage turn out to be a marriage between a Christian and an atheist? Yes. You learn to make faith not an issue.

The Bible commands us not to.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?

I'm athiest i wouldn't marry a christian. They will always be trying to convert you and giving you offensive speaches about hell. Besides the bible teaches christians that they are not to be unequally yolked. Which means no christian should knowingly marry a non christian.
