Hi,
If it is your wisdom tooth that is coming through it is most likely to be inflammation of the flap of gum around it that is causing the problem. It can get plaque bacteria and bits of food debris stuck underneath it causing it to swell and then your upper teeth bite on it and can make it worse..
First thing is to rinse as often as you can with hot salty mouthwash (1/2 tsp of salt in water as hot as you can stand)
Try and hold the mouthwash in your cheek and around the tooth until it cools slightly, then swoosh round. spit out and repeat as often as you can.
The most important thing is to keep this area as clean as you can, run your toothbrush under a hot tap to soften the bristles and apply some Corsodyl gel (from chemists) onto it massage this into the gums around this tooth gently.
If this keeps re-occuring you may need to have the wisdom teeth removed as they may be impacted, but kept clean most come through with no problem.
Hope this helps, and it feels better soon.

It could be a wisdom tooth rubbing against your cheek, or it could be a mouth ulcer. Go to the chemist and get some Bonjela to rub on the area till you can get to a dentist.

1)Oil of Cloves
2)Brandy-swilll it round your mouth it'll numb the pain
3) bonjella or Anbesol available in chemists
4)pain killers
this could be an absess so you have to go to the dentist cos if it bursts you're in huge trouble you need an antibiotic

Well in my opinion you should put some oral gel (eg. Bonjela) on ur tooth to numb it out a bit until you can get yourself to a dentist...might be more serious than just wisdom tooth problems.

Temporarily you could use Orajel but you need to go see a dentist/oral surgeon. I had that and its not fun it got so bad I could only chew on one side of my mouth eventually I didnt eat at all and I got bad headaches. I know its scary but better to deal with ASAP before you have problems.

I hate it when that happens, and the more it rubs, the more swollen the inside of your mouth gets which causes it to rub more.
Just because it toughens up the tenderness try salt water. Other than that try and not move mouth as much as is possible. Good luck

try rinsing with warm salted water. Don't brush your teeth until you see a dentist. also if you can get to the shop try an antibacterial mouth wash. not Listerine though, just a mild one.
also if you have any babies bonjella (teething gel) in the house, thats great.
you poor thing, its the worst pain ever :(

Your first priority is to see your dentist but oil of cloves is extremely effective in numbing tooth pain. Try that.
