If Muslims were terrorists, what do you think abt that; would you have a chance to survive till 21th century?

Search for the history of Ottoman Empire. They were the biggest Empire of all and existed for 600 years!! Their emperiors were great Muslims and never did anything which is not related with Quran. So if Muslims were terrorists why didnt they kill all of the non-muslims while they had the power of leading 3 continents?

Im Muslim too, im asking this question to who says Muslims are terrorists and they kill all of the non- believers.

Ottoman Empire never sat fire anywhere! Killing people is not related and allowed with being Muslim. I wish people can understand the truth sooner...

Not all Muslims are terrorists, but there are such things as Muslim terrorists, doesn't it strike you as strange that the suicide bombers are very young, and very naive. You never see the Leaders who recruited them, and provided the financal backing putting a bomb on their own backs and leading by example. So if what they were telling the suicide bombers about an assured place in Heaven was true, why don't they carry out the attack themselfs?.

Because Muslims were not, and have never been terrorists. And I am going to back up my Muslim brother in saying that in Islam, killing of the innocent is an offence punishable by death and eternity in hell. No Muslim I know would want to risk that. Peace.

Sorry, the kids somebody described as terrorists are in a very desperate situation. It is such a sad thing to be living there now, and to be in a place where your life is valued so little, and to know you know you could die any minute. Nobody can truly understand how bad it is unless they live there. So let's try not to judge them for that. I thank God I am not living under such oppression.

Your question suffers from some unreasonable leaps of logic, and an ignorance of history.

Mohammed was a military leader who spread Islam by the sword. It has been militaristic and bloody in its expansion since the Battle of the Trench on.

Muslim expansion was finally checked at the doorstep of Europe (well, the whole Iberian peninsula (Spain) was already rather consumed, wasn't it?) in southern France and at the gates of Vienna only by a matching military force, so its westward expansion rebounded into areas of Asia that lacked the resources to repel it.

Terror has been a part of the promulgation of Islam from the beginning.

As for the Ottoman being the "biggest Empire of all," you may get some argument from any second year history major.

OK let's agree for a second that all the muslims r terrorists. So now, according to US Center For World Mission 1997 Report only 23.52% population is muslim world-wide. And it is increasing 2% annually (which is remarkably greater than any other religion) in America itself. Does anyone think that it is possible in todays world it wud b pos'ble for any one to compell an American somebody to convert to Islam?
Besides, in the Middle East countries itself 20% of population is Coptic Christian (i.e. Christians since ages) had the Muslims been so rude There should not have been any non-muslim in the Arabian countries!
Now, if only 23-24% muslim constitute world population what about the remaining one's(76-77%)? R they not capable enuf to safeguard themselves from 23-24% people?

Prophet Hazrat Mohammed Sallallaho-Allai-Wassallam had to bear all the hardships to establish Islam according to the word of Allah Subhanahu-Wa-Ta-Ala. He (S.A.W.) did it in peaceful manner by reaching, preaching, teaching , guiding the people to righteous path. But, the natives offended him(S.A.W.) and his (S.A.W.)'s supporters (P.B.U.T.) violently, so that He(S.A.W.) may stop His(S.A.W.) sacred work. To save his (S.A.W.) supporter's lives he(S.A.W.) had to defend them all in the same manner which is very much practical and original. Islam is basically a religion for all kind of people with different cultures, traditions, nationalities etc. with different kind of natures and mindset. Do u think it is pos'ble for everyone to not defend him/her self in the similar manner as the offence? It is very much scientific to defend oneself in the same manner according to the offence eg:- Reflex actions.

Also, a muslim had to belive in Hazrat Isa allaissalaam (Jesus Christ) in accordance with the Holy Quran.

Take a look in the modern history, the Britishers almost ruled the complete world using all the deceptive, violent and what not harmful methods!! And what about Hitler? Besides, the latest weapon technologies r all invented and used firstly by the Christian countries!!!

Yes, search the history of the Ottomon empire. They stripped the land of Israel of all its trees, drove the people out of the land and left it desolate for 400 years until the Jewish people returned in the late 1800's and started to revive the land. It was only because of the defeat of the empire in the second world war that the middle east has revived. If the Muslims wanted that land they could have had it anytime, but they did not want it until the Jewish people revived it and turned it into and prosperous land that the Muslim's wanted it "back'. By the way the Turks never claimed that land for their own, THEY JUST OCCUPIED IT, like Palestinians are accusing Israel of doing today.
