Ihave decided to take my girlfriend on a 3 day getaway around NY area. I am looking for something inexpensive but memorable. No Atlantic City. We only have about 3 days so we want something relatively close to NY, NJ or metropolitan area. Any suggestions?

Times Square, South Sea Seaport (it's a mall on the east side), Central Park, Park Ave, Lexington Ave, World Trade site, Statue of Liberty, the village (by NYU). Have fun.

Why not try Priceline or iBtraveling.com and check out package deals for 3 days out of NY or NJ. See what the travel agents can put together for you. I'm sure anything will be fun! Good luck!

I would look at going upstate through the Hudson Valley towards the Catskills. That would be a very pretty drive and allow you get away from it all. Book for a couple of days in a nice b and b and you should have a very nice time.

Malacca... in basic terms 2 hours down the North-South parkway, various issues to do, certainly large seafood, ideal seashores and you will possibly have an impromptu Malaysia background classification using capacity of strolling down the streets of the city...
