listen more, develope your listening skills, people don't usually want ideas or solutions... all they want is too be heard and know that someone heard them... which builds trust and support and you didn't even have to give any input... just listen...
follow up with something like... so you would like to improve your relationships skill? How would a good relationship look to you?

This is a tough one: I try to be honest: One person told me I'm a great friend and everyone likes me...than the "But" came...I was toooo honest with everyone. I was told to be a little more Vague, maybe. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to be "not so honest" So....?
I still follow the line about honesty. I'm a member of a church and I have my dignity and integrity to uphold.
Faith fullness: being faithful to the values I believe in, the laws, the flag, our Government, etc.Family and the one I love.
Dignity: I hold my head up when I walk, knowing I live a good life.
Perseverance: Once headed in the right direction, keep going.
Gratitude: Being grateful for what I have, sometimes the smaller things in life are worth more than the big.
By loving ones brother and neighbor: It's easier for a camel to walk through the eye of a needle, than a rich man with all his wealth to buy his way into Heaven.

there are four basic rules for this:
1) you have two hears and one mouth.... so you will listen more than what you talk.
2) think what you are gonna say BEFORE you open your mouth
3) the most important person in the world is "me". This means that everyperson likes to talk about him/her self. Try to talk more about the person that you are talking with.
4)show interest in the person's talking,

Always be willing to listen. Even if you think what they are saying sounds stupid. Never judge any one. Always put yourself in there shoes.
