Islam's colours are: (i) Black (from the colour of the flag of Quaraish and the Prophet's own personal all-black standard); (ii) Green (from desert Islamic tribes' understanding that green equals the colour of paradise); and (iii) Red because Islam is a male-dominated and generally female-denying ideology (no offence intended). Check out traditional Islamic-Arab flags and you'll see that hardly any stray from this formula..especially in that they contain no feminine blues..

The colour spectrum has deep reds at the masculine end, deep blues at the feminine end, and green at the centre. Judaism is generally represented by blue (think "my daughter Zion"); Christianity by red (think male papcy and priesthood etc); and Islam is generally represented by green because it is technically a 'child' of the other two traditions.. Blue (female) meets Red (male) at the centre point of union (Green).

The Sun, Moon, and Stars symbolism of these three major monotheistic faiths is another intriguing subject too.

Can't give too much away, but it's all in The Color of Truth Volume I: Patterns in Light by S. T. Manning...

Hope this helps somewhat...

A nonsense connection.
Green is Islamic because green gives relief to people and it makes you feel peaceful. Thats the feeling what Islam gives to believers too.
