Everything of God is logical.

People who call God illogical don't know him. They just have a dim understanding of logic.

Nope.

While there is merit to SOME of them, like don't kill, the whole 1 god thing only makes sense if there is only 1 god.

Somehow, I find it hard to believe that an all powerful sky-daddy would create such a wonderful universe, fill it with so many varieties of things, populate this beautiful world, then decide he was only going to hang out in the sandbox... Something just isn't right with that picture, and thats exactly the picture Moses had when he ripped off the 10 commandments from the Egyptian book of Ani.

Are the Ten Commandments logical? Well, most of them are. But some are so sick and twisted that I can't believe anybody ever fell for this!
you shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an image, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me

These rules appear on the stele of the code of Hamurabi, the great babylonian king. they predate the bible by a long time, and appear in similar form in ancient Egypt.
They are basic rules for civil behaviour, but even the bible uses a lot of pages outlining civil laws that sometimes actually conflict with the ten commandments and indicate by their presence what problems the society that framed the laws had.
People don't make laws about stuff just because they are just good ideas but because they are trying to solve problems.
When you read something like the ten commandments think about how the contrary position would effect a smaller city engaged in commerce.

beware, they use a foul bible translation and website John a million:a million and John a million:18 in specific. This passage has been mistranslated because of the fact the 4th century a minimum of to point the life of assorted god's. this could have been ridiculous to the persons who wrote the e book. John a million:a million-4 is a definition of God as Trinity to apply in interpretation of something of the e book (John). particularly bible translation forget approximately translation which contain "a god" or "the divine" as translation of a million:a million, because of the fact they're ridiculous. Addition: making use of a million:a million-4 as a definition of the trinity, you will see that the e book is describing God. on an analogous time as this is easy particularly to understand, we won't be able to totally draw close the thought. think of of it like a nicely interior the woods. this is obviously a nicely, yet no count what you do, you may't tell how deep this is, or what it appears like under the exterior. Addition 2: ok, you relatively required to be unswerving on your government, "provide to ceasar what's ceasars, ..." and in the event that they press you to bypass a mile bypass 2 miles (this area is approximately helping the protection tension). Get it? sturdy suggestion...

I think that they are important, however the only commandments you need to remember is Love God with all your heart, and love one another. We no longer live by law, we now live by grace, mercy, and forgiveness.
