It really depends on where in the US you plan to travel to and the time of year. It's usually cheaper to travel in the off-season October and January (except near New Year's) are usually good times. The weather may not be as nice, but there are also less crowds. I'm flying from the U.S. to Germany next month and found the cheapest flight on Lufthansa airlines. You might want to check out Expedia.com or Orbitz.com and compare prices. Also, if you are able, fly into smaller surrounding cities instead of larger ones. They are usually less expensive to fly into. For instance, fly into Oakland or San Jose instead of San Francisco if there is an available flight.

Well there is really no way to just flat out, and say one airline. If it was within North America that would be a different story. What you are going to have to do is list some airlines, and see who has the better deal. I will tell you this as a good hint be flexible with your dates, escpecially for overseas flights, because the more flexible you are the cheaper the airfair. Another good tip look for airlines offering a redeye flight. Redeye is always cheap because hardly anyone is willing to fly the redeye. Also see if there are any stand by they are not a guaruntee, but they can have good deals.

Find a duck who is willing to take you. It should preferably be a big duck who flies fast, so you don't have to carry too much food.
