21 times logically if he jumps 20 times he will only get 40 meters, and will still be in the well. It is the last jump that takes him out.

I'd say 21 leaps as well because 20 would only get him to the rim & not out but that's presuming that he has something to jump onto. Also he is a little frog so he would be exhausted by the time he gets out the poor little thing

Jay M is correct. Twenty jumps would take frog to the rim of the well, 21 would take him out

Assuming He was able to land on something each time he jumped, as he would be jumping VERTICALLY.

Heard the same sort of riddle before, but it didn't involve a well

20 times IF he had some thing/place that he could hold onto after each leap. Otherwise he couldn't get out.

The frog would jump into the pail when it was lowered to get water.

Well he should need one. That one being in a different direction, so he wouldn't have fallen into the well in the first place....lol
Have A Great Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or jump into the bucket, when it comes down for water.....lol
