why do some chicks want to sleep with a guy early on in the r'ship?

With my ex gf, she initiated things inside a couple of weeks of the r'ship, and i've also noticed my mates saying similar things. I always thought it was chicks who waited for a while before they did it.

This is sort of like asking why do some people use turn signals and some don't. It depends on the person.
As for the morality part of your question, in the past generations female sexuality was something to be ashamed of, sex was not to be enjoyed, and it was considered one of the worst things a girl/woman could do to have sex outside of a marriage (circa 1950's and prior). The sexual revolution changed many females attitudes about sex and sexuality as have many of the scientific studies in recent years. Now, a woman is in charge of her own sexuality, and for some women that means ya want what ya want, when ya want it, so go get it girl! For others, it means I am too special to share with every one I meet.

Some women are more progressive than others...I go to Europe all the time, and sex is no big deal, once the two of you realize you're both on the same page. In America, there's waaaaay too much game to be played, so you have to either be ready to do the dog-and-pony act, or go somewhere that the women have to act more mature. Good hunting!

The path of them getting to point of being ripe for seduction is different than for us men. The other reasons is that she may want to know what kind of lover you are. If you are good, then she may want to keep you around for awhile.

It's the fact the no one cares about the romance aspect of relationships anymore. That's why relationships don't last that long anymore. People are too quick to jump into bed. They don't take the time to get to know each other and find out common interest. Sex is one of the them but that's how it ends up being just sex and not love-making.
