I used to abuse my hair straighteners and my hair hated me for it until I went to a store called Lush. All of their products are natural and I have never looked back! I use a pre wash hair treatment (H'suan Wen Hua) that you leave on dry hair for 20mins or so. I wash that out with a solid shampoo bar which I have had for over 8 months and that controls oily roots. (jumping juniper) And then follow it up with a conditioner that smells like vanilla ice cream (american cream) but only put that on the ends of my hair.
My hair is down to my waist and I have to admit I'm not a natural blonde and this stuff has rescued my hair to the point that when I last saw my hairdresser she commented on how good the condition and shine on my hair was! And as an added bonus, because all the products are natural my colour stays longer as there are no chemicals stripping it out every time I wash my hair.
Hope this helps you. x

A really good way to get soft hair again is to wet it, and smooth avocado oil (available in Tesco) through it and then wrap it in a warm towel for 15-30 mins (depending on the thickness of your hair), then wash as normal, shampooing a couple of times. Makes it really shiny and the natural oils help to repair the hair. If you're just after a shampoo and conditioner, Umberto Giannini ones are really good for dry hair (in Boots, Superdrug etc etc). Good luck!

Well-groomed hair enhances your appearance. Everyone wants beautiful and shiny hair. Different types of hair need different types of treatments. Here we offer some tips to give your hair shiny appearance.
Fine Hair: Use a shampoo with wheat proteins and polymers. These ingredients cover the hair shaft, making it appear thick. Use spray volumizers. They coat your hair with a thin mist of droplets without causing your hair to droop.
Normal Hair: Use a shampoo containing silk amino acids. These acids make the hair soft and repair the damaged hair structure. Lecithin is vital for restoring hair texture. Gels and creams make hair shine. Put a small amount of the product on your palm, rub the hands together and pat lightly on the hair

I find John Frieda products like Frizz Ease really good, a bit pricey but i get amazing results. Schwarzkopf Gliss hair repair shampoos, conditioners and hair dry sprays leave your hair shiny and silky. If you want something more natural, try dissolving coffee in your rinse water if your a brunette, or squeeze lemon juice into your roots if u are blonde.

Redken makes an excellent deep conditioner, it contains avocado oil. Put it on after you shampoo your hair then cover you hair with a plastic cap and sit under the dryer for 10 mins. Your hair will feel sooo much better. Do this once a week if your hair is extremely damaged.

The olive glossing shampoo and conditioner from the Body Shop worked wonders with my hair when it went frizzy and dry from straightening. Also, the Coconut and Almond oil shampoo and conditioner from Boots hydrates and nourishes hair, keeping it soft and shiny.

My hair used to be the same. I went to my local hairdresser who told me a simple tip that's worked for me:
Instead of buying expensive products (that don't always do what they claim they will) just rub a small amount of your normal conditioner into your hair (whilst it's still damp after washing it) and leave it in.
It will make your hair shiny and smooth in no time.

u can buy hot oil treatments or make them urself (recipes in most harcare books) that repair damaged hair, or use an intensive conditioner, or Restructants, 2 egg yolks mixed with 250 grams of natural yoghurt put in ur hair makes a really good repairing/make-stuff-more-shiny thingimo... i would talk to a stylist & get their advice. they really know their stufff & they're usally really helpful.

my hair is polished looking. Get a good cut as you can't repair the bad damage from heat etc then invest in some L'ANZA healing haircare. Shampoo, conditioner & serum. www.lanza.com.
Expensive but bloody fantastic.
