The health benefits of brown eggs versus white eggs is there is no nutritional difference. Contrary to popular belief, brown eggs aren't a healthier alternative to white eggs.
The color difference is due to the specific breed of hen, according to the Egg Nutrition Center. Hens with white feathers and white earlobes will lay white eggs, whereas hens with red feathers and matching-colored earlobes give us brown eggs

Actually, if you are thinking of pure white eggs, I have some in my fridge at the moment that have been laid by DUCKS. They taste a little stronger than hens' eggs and are very nourishing. In spring I get GOOSE eggs that also are white . They are huge and delicious. The birds are free range and the eggs are bound to be healthier than those of cooped up hens.
Otherwise hens eggs have exactly the same degree of nourishment whether they are brown or white. I understand that in the US they favour white eggs but it is purely a matter of colour preference.

The color of the egg depends on the type of hen. If you want healthy eggs, try vegetarian fed free range. Don't worry about white or brown issue (although I prefer brown because they are bigger and taste better).
Eggs are incredibly healthy.. we used to think they caused heart problems, but the opposite had been proven to be true. They are actually full of all sorts of good stuff, BUT anything eaten to excess will throw your body out of balance, so be sure to eat your fruits and veggies, too! Be careful about egg substitutes. The natural product is always superior to the synthetic. If you use an egg alternative, make sure it is from natural sources.

There is no real difference but some people believe that brown eggs are better for you/taste better. There could be a placebo effect for some people I suppose.
I've read that shell colour depends on the breed of chicken, but I've also read that it can be affected by feeding.

It is related to the type of bird that laid them, or in the case of chickens it could be related to their diet. I buy brown eggs all the time from the supermarket here in the UK, and personally I don't see much difference in them when cooking.
I have found that most organic eggs, or eggs where the chickens are allowed to roam free (free range) the yolk tends to be more dark compared to battery hens, and they taste better, too.

White eggs come from white chickens and brown eggs come from brown chickens. Basically they are the same.

There's no nutritional difference between the two. Though I haven't seen any white eggs for years.
You can buy nutritionally improved eggs, high in Omega 3 which are very good for you and tasty with it. It's all to do with what your chicken is fed on.

There is no difference is taste or nutritional value. The reason for the difference in the colour of the eggshell is purely based upon the diet of the hens.
