So Bobbyism has no holidays, eh? Try starting with your birthday as the main one. That's worked for dozens of dieties or their followers. Or a day you don't like. Like your ex-girlfriend's birthday. You can label that "Holiest buy Bobby and his Buds some Beer" day. Or add 'mass' at the end and make it sound really official. Everyone will forget your ex-girlfriend's birthday except her immediate family and they'll be busy out buying beer, so it won't matter.

Hope I gave you a couple of ideas to start you off! And good luck with the founding of your new religion. I advise hanging around college campuses, coffee shops and airports. You should pick up plenty of followers in no time.

ETA: Count me in! We Asatruar love parties! Just get yourself some followers first and we can demand the beer as a sacrifice. Will give whole new meaning to 'doing it on the cheap'.

Then you are eclectic, taking from different religions and making your own spiritualism from that. So, you should do a search on religious holidays and find the one's that fit your idea. Personally, I don't hold holidays like that, though I do love Samhain. And I do Christmas for the rest of my family, but we, my hub, son and I, usually celebrate Yule - exchanging gifts then, instead of on Christmas.

I suggest that you do a lot of reading about the first dozen or so major religions of the world today, rather than asking blindly here in YA! You certainly don't show that much faith and certainty in your own religious beliefs then, I presume...

Peace be with you.

im wiccan, we have 4 sabbats and 4 esbats. the sabbats are the most holy and the esbats are the seasonal change days. we usually prepare a meal to share together and decorate with appropriate things and usually honor the people who came before us and if there is a particular group spell we need to do to help someone or bring about change we often do that, we also make offereings and sing and dance and usually stay up till dawn just talking.
