Losing weight is easy: Just eat less. Keeping it off is hard. This involves a life style change. And exercise needs to be part of it. There is nothing hard about exercise. Just go out for a walk. You don't have to run. Just walk. Walk around the block. Then, after a while, 2 blocks. Then work up to 3 blocks.
And while your exercising, eat a little less and eat healthy. Cut back on the calories, starting with about 200 calories less than you eat now. Give it a couple weeks, and if that is not working, cut back another 100 to 200 calories. The calories you eat should come from mostly proteins and good carbs. Cut back (or cut out) refined sugars and fatty foods - especially trans-fat.

Without a proper diet and exercise program, you can not lose weight. Instead of 3 meals a day, eat 6 SMALL meals. Drop your carb and fat intake, as it is obviously too high. Cut out ALL sweets... no more deserts. Treat fast food like the plague that it is... in other words, don't do it! Drink LOTS of water. STOP drinking soda. Up your activity level and get on an exercise program 5 days a week. You may not want to exercise now, but after a week of it you will find it addictive and you will have no trouble maintaining it.
There's no quick fix. You either need to change your entire life style, or forget it. Watch that show on TV... "The Biggest Loser"... they'll show you how it's done, as well as inspire you to do it yourself.
GOOD LUCK!!!

"Easy" is in the eye of the beholder. The key to weight loss is to burn more calories than you take in on a daily basis. However, without exercise, it becomes a bit more difficult and may involve completely changing your diet.
If you make a fist with one hand, that is approximately the size of your stomach. Try eating small, healthy meals (roughly the size of your fist) about every 4-5 hours. This ideally boosts your metabolism naturally, and keeps the body out of a post-absorptive state. This also helps to boost your energy level, which will undoubtedly lead to an increased activity level.
Also, when you do sit down to eat a meal: take a bite, lay your utensils down as you chew, and once you swallow, pick your utensils up again and repeat the process. This technique helps you to eat slower and pay more attention to when your body tells you it is full.
