For those of you with little kids, don't they think of you as a kind of god, or deity like thing?

But they soon grow up, and realise your just another; with human folly

Hypothetically speaking, the god concept is still in its primitive stages but one day humans will better understand how an omnipotent being has no need for worship. Worship is actually for the benefit of the worshipers.

That could be a good analogy yes!

As far as I know my parents are real people.

And although I may have once considered them to be a controlling influence in my life.....I now realize that they are the reason that I was born and not the direct influence on my adult decision making.

I guess I've grown up and realized that human folly comes in all forms and all questions are created equally. I remain a believer in a "Higher Power"......believing we all walk our own path.

Peace!

If you buy into theology, one must wonder, after a while, why there are children amoung us at all, or why we grow old. Not all answers begin and end in science. The entire way the world is set up looks kinda suspicious to me....

One difference, parents are real people. The great Sky Daddy is not.
