What they mean, is have fun and all, but don't get so involved with drama that can ruin your chances of being successful later in life. You're going to be an adult longer than your'e going to be a kid in life, and right now as a kid, you're laying the foundation for what kind of adult your going to be..adults just wish that you understood this because they care about you and wish they could save you from your own mistakes..Not that you'll make any, but THEY did, and it scares them for you...

I feel as though there is nothing wrong with dating when you are a teen provided it dosn't overtake your studies or any of your hobbies/interests.
Dating is a normal part of being a human being and when we are teenagers we are learning to interact with those of the opposite sex. Yes, it should be a happy time in your life, but not the happiest - most of your years should be the happiest.
Some kids do allow dating to get out of hand and they land themselves into serious relationships. When this happens, sexual problems and unwanted pregnancies can occur.
This is dating that has got out of hand.
You should be able to enjoy having fun with those of the opposite sex. Try to see it as a fun, learning activity rather than something serious.
Good luck

You guys are just to young to understand. You guys think that us adults want the worst for you, but we don't, we just don't want you teens to get hurt. Trust me, we say it from experience, now it is only up to you guys to listen. Don't worry about the happy years of your life, they will always be there, no matter if you are fifteen or not, just as long as you know how to appreciate life. Think about it!

There is more to life than just puppy love.Get yourself straightened out and keep your focus on school but it is fine to date and be serious about someone without taking it too far.You may very well think you know what you want but you will change your whole routine of thinking as you mature.

People can think the way they want, fcan't they.
You can too.
Once dating begins, life is rarely simple again.
You might take their advice for a while longer,
but you can keep your eye out for the right guy.

I was there and took all my time for the romance and I reget it now... You are so young and you will be young for a LONG time!

I am 35 and I still feel young and I still am.

Get the base and then when you age do the partying! You will not regret it!
