Why would my guy tell me that I'm not ready for him to love me yet b/c he loves hard. And then turn around and email me at different times of the week that he loves me??? What the heck is he doing?

Confusion with a capital "C"!!!
He sounds as though he is uncertain of the relationship and of his own feelings.
He says you love him too hard - perhaps he wants to be the one to make the moves in the relationship and be the more dominant?
Some guys like to take the initiative as it makes them feel strong and reliable. A girl that loves too much may take away their feelings of masculinity. I think he really likes you otherwise he wouldn't email you so much.
Try easing off and letting him make the calls.
I am sure he just wants to feel more dominant.
Once the relationship settles a bit, he may calm down and not stress so much. Just let it ride and good luck!! :)

This is easy. He's manipulating you. By telling you you're not "ready" he using reverse psychology to make you convince him you are. Then the e-mails with ILY in them furthers your "need" to make him understand how "ready" you are. This is a great example of hiding insecurity between the lines. He wants YOU to "fight for his love".
Honestly, it's pretty lame. Move on, you don't need to be toyed with. And even worse, this personality type can run deeper and to a much more unhealthy place. Run away. Fast.
No...faster.

It sounds like he thinks that you are not ready to love him yet, but he loves you. Maybe he thinks that you don't love him like he does you. If you feel the same way about him then tell him.

i have no clue what he is thinking in his little mind. You need tell him to be clearer. The only thing i could even possible think of his maybe he does not love his self or maybe he thinks you might be imature and wants to wait until you get maturer? i have no clue he is confussing. I would talk to him again and say WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT.

He is conditioning you for some sort of crazy stuff. You should run from this guy. Soon he will ask you to do little strange things to prove your love and then it will get worse.

Yeah its very confusing.
Maybe his is saying that he love you (I care you type)
He may not be tryna to say he is in love with you by saying i love but he has love for you.
But he really needs to stop emailing you that he loves you because feeling are very sensitive

Listen lady, your guy has huge genitilia and doesnt want to destroy you in one single swift stroke. Simply receiving emails from him is a sign that he is still interested in you, and the "I love you" is merely meaningless tradition in contrast to him "loving you" which is sexual intercourse, most likely.... Just use lots of lube and you'll be fine..
