Redemption from what? Escape from what?

The difference is in redemption, someone else bail you out. In escape, you bailed yourself out.

Escape doesn't brings redemption, it brings deferred absence from whatever you escaped from. If whatever you escaped from caught up with ya, you are going to need escaping again. Redemption however, paid the full work so neither you nor anyone else need to have anything ever to pay again.

It's like what Jesus done on the cross. He redeem us from our sins by paying for our sins, so that now we are righteous before God, there is no need for us to escape because we now have imputed righteousness.

Shalom.

Escape from what? Life, sadness, poverty, all bad things???

No redemption will not bring escape from the bad things in life, it will however help you to deal with them

You seem to be fixated on tying the two words together.

But if, by that, you mean it to be as an escape from the worldly temptations, or the evil wrongdoings, or the consequences to be suffered as a result in the aftermath... then so be it.

Peace be with you.
