My brother is 17 and likes a 19 year old gal who likes him as well. Do you think it is weird/wrong that they like eachother and what about if they went out?

No,he's lucky.I have a friend,she is 16 with 22 year old bf.that is weird.That is too big of an age gap.

Well it may seem harmless but u gotta think u already have ur life together u kno wat u wanna do u got everything together and he hasn't even started yet. My big sister who is 17 going to be 18 in November, graduated this June from high school and is in college was dating this 15 yr old boy and at first she didn't think it was a big deal but the thing is he's still young he hasn't experienced a serious relationship yet and he told her and me that he was gonna be serious and not play her or anything but that's what he did. U gotta be careful with the younger guys sometimes they can get intimidated that ur the one with everything together and they're the ones that aren't. If u want to keep dating him then go ahead and give him a chance but just be careful

I can say from exprience that is not weird or wrong for them to like eachother. However unless the boy's parents don't mind him dating someone older, then them dating should not be a problem. Unless they are having sex and the cops find out, then it could (but not very likely) be considered sex with a minor. But heck it happens all the time between young people, so just tell them to have fun and be careful :)

Sounds ok to me, who knows what could happen down the road..
I knew a guy who went out with my friends sister when she was 21 and he was 17.. they are both married to eachother now, and at 30 and 34, NO ONE cares about the age difference!

This is the day and age, everyone does it now even my best friend at the age of thirty is dating a guy 21 for 4 years now. Ya never know they may even do the same (your brother and the girl) personally I'm with you I don't think I could do it, but on the other hand I don't condemn those who do. sunnydays

Hi, Sounds like they are welling to give it a try. There's nothing wrong with their age difference and there's nothing weird or wrong about this. They problem will go out and that is their business and no one else. I say,good for them.

i wudnt want to date a guy as young as that. Neither should that girl. Guys have very slow mental growth compared to us....and moreover its 17 and 19 not 27 and 29......
even if they go out, they will move on soon.

thats not weird at all you should be congradulating him for bieng able to catch a chick 1-2 yrs older than him, cuz as ive seen it most girls in that age range usually dont date anyone their age or younger and typically go for older guys
