There are lots of theories on this. One theory is that if you are carrying the baby wide, it's a girl. I've also heard that if you look pretty while you're pregnant, it's a girl. If you look less pretty, or develop dark spots on your face, it's a boy. But the best trick I know is getting a 3-D ultrasound. I had this done when I was around 6 1/2 months pregnant and it's amazing. You can really see the details of the baby, and the genitalia.

Well they do have the necklace trick. Get a ring and place it in a necklace and put it over your belly. I believe if it sways its a girl, if it goes in a circle its a boy. Also i hear that boys are very Low in the tummy, so your stomach looks like its dropped...but there are alot of methods out there...those are just some i know of :)

this may sound a lit'l silly but take a necklace that has a charm on it drop it in the middle of your hand pick it up again if it starts to spin in a circle its a boy and if it sways back and forth its a girl. and of course if it is still niether. it is also suppose to count for each child that you will or already have had.. so if you have a kid it should tell you the sex of that child before it gives you the answer of the unborn.

You schedule an ultrasound. A trick is just that - a trick. And not always dependable.

There is no "trick" I carried my daughter very low, below my navel...and as I said...I had a DAUGHTER (FEMALE). The only way to know early on is by ultrasound. We couldn't determine my daughter's sex at the time as she wouldn't uncross her legs, I was told then that that was a sign it would be a boy...Again...I said DAUGHTER, Only one sure fire wait to know what sex your baby will be at birth is to wait until the day they are born. Then peek under the blanket.

No offense, but in health class, we just learned that the 1st answer is completely false. Where the baby is carried depends on where the egg was in terms of ovulation when it was fertilized. Towards the end of ovulation the baby is carried lower, beginning of ovulation, the baby is carried higher.
