This guy that I really like, and know through work, is 21, and I'm only 16. I don't know him that well at all, but he seems really sweet, and hes always really nice to me. Is that too much of an age gap? He wants me to go to his house to watch a movie with him... would it be a dumb move to be alone with him?

If a guy asks you to watch a movie at his house, the last thing he wants to do is watch a movie. Come on, you know that!

It is a big age difference, since you're 16. Once you're a little older it might not be a big deal, but not at this age-- AND it's illegal. I've been there, done that, and I wish I had made a different decision.

If you REALLY want to get to know him better, at least go out in public, and have your family and friends meet him.

DO NOT go to his house. He is a 21 year old MAN and you are a 16 year old girl. You barely know him and his intentions could be to use you and it is unsafe for you to do so. Please, just remain friends with him if you truly like him until you are 17 or 18 b/c right now the age gap is way to big. It would be different if it was a bunch of people you knew and him, but just him and you is a very, very bad idea.

Age doesn't mean anything besides legally. It doesn't sound like a smart idea to put yourself in that situation. Your hormones are going to be raging and you don't want to regret a little crush when your pregnant. You should just enjoy him for what he is... a crush. Flirt and have fun but don't go all the way and don't lead him on. Make sure he knows how you feel.

age is no problem. only 5 years? but the problem here is that he is asking you to watch a movie with him at his house. i don't want to conclude what happens next. but i'm sure you know what could happen. it's not ok especially he is not your bf, and you don't know him real well yet. yes it would be a dumb move.

This is not a age gap, but you should rather go out with him instead of his home.

If you don't know him well, why not go out to a movie? No sense putting yourself in a potentially bad situation

Depending on your state, statutory rape is an issue.
If you mom/dad doesn't approve, he's screwed.
Find a guy younger than 18, believe me. 21 years old and can't even find a gal to party with??
Not to bash on you, but your too young to know better, and he's old enough to ought to know better.
Cherish your teens, once it's gone, it's gone.

the age isnt a problem, but be careful, try to wait until your 18 to have sex, for his sake...after that have fun...

Don't go. Keep things in public places.. feel him out, ask to meet his mom and friends.. then see how he reacts..
