ok here is what you do. you take a full spoon full of sugar, and swallow it dry. it is kinda hard but you cannot let it get wet in your mouth. do not salivate in it. what hickups are is condisation trying to get into your lungs. the dry sugar wil soak up the moisture and send it down to your stomach where it needs to be. trust me on this one

Two suggestions, 1 easy, 1 not as easy:

1) suck the juice from a quarter or a half of a lemon. Works most of the time.

2) Lie on your back on a firm surface. Put your legs in the air like you're going to do the "bicycle" exercise. Instead of "pedaling," push your legs further, so that you get them as close to the floor near your head as possible. If you do this, your hiccups will go away.

Take a big sip of water or juice but don't swallow it! Hold it in your mouth then bend down like your going to pick up something from the floor. When your all bent swallow the water or juice and then get up! Once you get up you won't have any more hiccups! It always works for me! Good Luck!

This usually works for me..as funny as it sounds.
Put a pencil in your mouth, horizontally, and kind of bite on it (i hope that makes sense).
Then drink water while the pencil is kinda in your mouth.
I wish I could explain it better..but try it bc it always works for me.
Another thing that I have heard is to drink water from a spoon that has a bit of sugar on it...

I guarantee this will work. Have someone plug your ears while you drink a half a glass of water. It's guaranteed. It equalizes the pressure from your inner ear. Try it, what have you got to lose?

Try drinking a large glass of water?
Holding your breathe?

Or swallowing a spoonful of sugar? (It actually worked on me)

either eat a boiled potatoe with no water, or go jogging for 55mins, as soon as you are done, scream on top of your voice for 5mins and you shall never have hiccups again
