The purporters of the principle that every Muslim must intellectually prove Allah's existence to himself (such as Hizb ut Tahrir) often compare the belief of the person born into a muslim family, with the belief of the people of Ibraaheem alaihis salaam who rejected the call of Ibraaheem because they blindly adhered to the religon of their forefathers : " When he (Ibraaheem) said to his father and his people: What are these images to which you are devoted? They said : We found our fathers worshipping them." [ al Anbiyah 21:52-53] Thus they argue, just as the people of Ibraaheem believed in idolatry, blindly, without question, many of us too do not have intellectual but blind and emotional faith in Allah. To support this idea, they will often quote the following verse in soorah Muhammad : " Know that laa ilaaha illallaah" [47:19]. From this verse they deduce that Allah is telling mankind to know ( i.e prove to yourself, rather than just trust in your inherent belief) that Allah exists.

I know that my Redeemer lives, and His name is Jesus Christ. As it is written: "Jesus answered, if I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say, "He is our God"; yet you have not come to know Him; but I know Him; and if I say I do not know Him, I shall be a liar like you, but I do know Him,and keep His word. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad." The Jews therefore said to Him, "you are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?" Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM" (John 8:54-59)

Yes, I know the existance of God...by whatever name you call Him. When I was a little girl, during a thunder storm, lightening struck somewhere near by & stunned me. Not knowing what I was doing, I was running from one end of an old fashion house w/ a hall down the middle, to the other end. Finally I became aware of what I was doing, and doubled over w/ my arms around my waist. Thinking I was going to die, I started praying "God, please don't let me die, I don't want to die...God please don't let me die, I don't want to die." At that point I was back at the kitchen door & was pulled up to a standing position. A bright light was there above where the wall meets the ceiling. It (the Holy Spirit) said to me "You're going to be alright, Nala." I stood there perfectly calm until the 'light' disappeared...then walked around to where my aunt stood watching big balls of fire shooting out from the stove against the other wall. Don't know what the lightening hit, but it sure did cause a lot of havoc.
Prove the God exists? I cannot do that. I can only tell you what I experienced. Years later I told a preacher about it & he just nodded his head and said, "I know. The same thing happened to me out in the cow pasture & that is why I became a preacher." I had confirmation that God spoke to people today just as He did in historical stories in the Bible.
Prove that God exists? I can't...but I'll leave you with this thought.
"I believe in the sun when I see it not...I believe in God when I see Him not."
Wishing you to know that God Is. (He is called by many names.)
Nala

Yes we do beleive that more than our own existence.
Please visit the link below and hopefully you will find answers to many other questions.
Each individual is different from other in mental level or the ability to understand and/or grasp the knowledge. In a simple example we contact medicine doctor for consulataion on medical issues, while we visit a workshop for car repair.
For example a blind person cant see any thing on this world but is he right when he says that nothing is existing in this world ?
What do you think that is he right in his claim?

How do you know something exists if you cant see it?
How do you know if someone really loves you, do you have proof that it really exists?
Feeling? Seeing? Some questions just cant be answered.
â¥(I'll think of that when I'm prone to ask dumb questions)â¥

Interesting. I searched for God and ended up convincing myself it didn't matter, that there was no way to prove either side and so the entire question was unscientific and irrelevant.
I'm a nontheist.
