I want something small on the inside of my left wrist. I would like a word or saying, something meaningful, but not too common, on love or life. If anyone knows of anything in Egyptian or French, let me know.

You can do a search on tattoo designs and you will find several sites that will show designs to help give you ideas.

It's best to choose the tattoo yourself, since this will be with you for ages to come. If you do choose a french of egyptian, be certain that you know the meaning! You don't want to go to that country and have someone say "Hey! Why does your wrist say 'poop'?" Get various books, or find a translator such as a teacher from a college or High school who speaks the language.

One suggestion on an egyptian tattoo would be the Ankh symbol...The ankh was the Egyptian hieroglyphic character that stood for the word nh, meaning life. Egyptian gods are often portrayed carrying it by its loop, or bearing one in each hand, arms crossed over their breasts. It is also known as the Egyptian Cross, or as crux ansata, Latin for "cross with a handle".

I'm sorry to listen to approximately your puppy. I could feel LONG & tough approximately getting ANY tattoo... I recognise they r all of the fad correct now, however keep in mind that is everlasting( except you cross via a painful elimination method). Do you rather wish to be forty with a paw print on you? If u rather have got to have one, probably select the title Cooper written in very lovely writing or with a tribal subject someplace inconspicuos for your frame.

If you don't know what you want, don't get one just to get one.

Every tattoo I have is a symbol of something that is important in my life. I will be able to look back when I'm 80 years old and explain to my grandkids the significance of every tattoo. My body is like a scrapbook.

Too many people just up and get something that looks cool or seems to fit them at that particular moment in time. They end up hating it later. Don't just go on a whim. Only you know yourself well enough to know what you're going to want on your body for the rest of your life. What is important to you? What do you want to see on your body, looking like an inky blob in 50 years while you explain it - with FONDNESS - to your grandkids? Keep that stuff in mind when choosing. Tattoos should never be a mistake or fashion statement. They should be an artistic expression of who you are, as a person.

And why do you want to get a tattoo in a language that you don't speak, read or understand? There are so many people that do this and end up getting something incorrectly done - only to be laughed at later. Do you really want to trust strangers as to what your tattoos REALLY says? I know it's tempting to look more educated or sophisticated to have it in another language, such as Latin, but really think about what is best for you.

Personally, I have several tattoos and am an apprentice piercer, so I see lots of people coming in to get tattoos in languages they don't understand... and I'm active in several body modification communities/websites online, and lots of people look down on that sort of tattoo (if you don't speak/read the language) or regret that they got it.

Whatever you get, it must be meaningful to you--FOREVER!! Choose something that represents what you stand for, or feel the strongest about.
