What type of hepatitis were the person tested? If the person undergo the Hepatitis Profile test (which is recently the complete blood test in detecting Hepatitis) then Hepatitis is not the one causing the jaundice (yellow discolaration of the eyes or skin ). It could be other liver problems like liver cirrhosis (which can be caused by too much alcohol in the body ) or a liver inflammation caused by a bacteria. Anything that gives the liver any abnormality may result to jaundice. Try to be tested for Liver Function test. This will give you the idea the probable causes of that. Hope this helps. God bless

Hepatic dysfunction can be the result of many different things, with viral hepatitis being but three, hepatitis A, B or C. If all those tests have been done and are non-reactive, it may just be too early in the disease, or they may not be at all responsible.
There are other infectious diseases that affect the liver, toxins, such as the chemicals used in dry cleaning, or gardening chemicals, or overuse of drugs like tylenol, or inborn or acquired metabolic problems.
The doctor should be performing yet more investigative serologic tests, which may be available for little or no cost through the health department (although test results will take longer than with a private lab). Please be compliant with the doctor's recommendations. Chances are you will be able to get over this if you do not further insult your liver while it is damaged.
Best wishes.

If you're using Kava Kava, stop. I just read that a woman used it for six months, and she had to have a liver transplant.
Kava can't be sold in England, but you can still find it in the USA
