of people think that all Muslims are bad? Could it possibly be that there are just some bad Muslims out there, just like there are bad Christians, Jews, Atheists, etc, etc, etc, whom make everyone else look bad?

I don't think Muslims are bad. I am a Christian, and I have Muslim friends from Iran, Syria, Bangladesh and Israel. Very good people.
But you must understand there are a whole lot of issues with Islam.
And these issue s are not going away any time soon. The terrorists don't help matters either. Muslims are going to have to do a whole lot of screaming and shouting and showing outrage concerning the various terror attracts over the last 20 years before they will see others begin to warm up to them as in past history. In addition the anti-Semites perpetrated by the various Islamic states must cease. Otherwise you will continually notice a lot of hostility toward Muslims. Sorry, but there you are.

Hi - I believe you are right. There are a few bad Muslims (and Jews and Christians and whatever). Unfortunately, it is natural (but not good) for people to generalize from a few cases to the entire population.

That's what prejudice is all about.

There are no bad people. It's neither good or bad it just is. There are people who make wrong choices. Not to decide is a decision. There's good, better and best. When all was created it was perfect. People can choose to get along it's a matter of respect. Besides a humble person wouldn't know they were being that way.

well, politicians have been getting a lot of fear mongering mileage out of the 9/11 attacks. propaganda is thick with insinuated or blatant messages about the threat of generalized Muslim extremism. i guess it's natural to fear that which is different, especially if there's been violence done by some heinous few who carry that difference. but politicians and media talking heads have been exploiting America's trauma based fears to aggrandize their power and financially enrich themselves ... sadly much to the detriment of innocent Muslims and our Nation's character.

Not exactly. what you are defining as a Muslim who is not bad is one who has not decided to apply the teachings of the Koran.
A bad Christian or Jew is one who has decided not to apply the teachings of the Bible. See the difference?
A good Muslim does not apply the Korans doctrine, justifying the killing of innocents
A bad christian does not apply the Bibles doctrine.

YES. Your 100% right. Hating a whole religion because of what a few people did is the same as hating black people, white people, etc. What's that word? Oh yeah, prejudice.

Unfortunately, a lot of people are just fearful, hateful creatures with herd mentalities. Pick someone to hate, point your fearful crowd in the "right" direction and suddenly you've got them all busily enjoying their newfound solidarity and patriotism built through irrational fear and hate.

Crafty, no? And incredibly disgusting behavior, IMO.

Probably because of what we see in the media. Extremism anywhere is bad news, because people would rather be right than be kind to those around them.

I agree. It's just because of the terrible propaganda against Muslims.
