Yes Mexico is jealous that's why they mimic everything we do.. Elvis is a World wide icon, he has become a phenomenon due to the fact that he's still very much popular and listened to. When I was stationed in Japan I noticed this popularity of Elvis out there, Even in Afghanistan the locals would not know a word of English but the could sure say "Elvis Presley" with ease,next time you feel like making a comment like so, take a trip out of your little town or state and if you can country and you will see that there's more in the world than apple pie. Mexico is certainly not jealous, but they have come to adore an Idol in the U.S.
