Most "televangelists" are scam artists. Pushing people down on stage and babbling off the tops of their heads, like one big circus stage act. Giving "big" sermons on any random verse, every telecast. Then they try and sell you the blessings of God if you give THEIR "ministry" thousands of $$ a month.
Acts 8:20 - "But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money."

I found it hard to tolerate TV evangelists before Ted Haggard was caught.

Ted Haggard not Merle Haggard.... one a sick *** one a country singer...and no T.V evangelism is the most non christian thing to ever grace a television...

Only thing they caught Merle doing was singing country music.
TED Haggard stood up and snitched himself off - good on him.
I don't watch either of them.

I'm a christian and have never watched or admired any tele Evangelist.So how does this affect your theory now?
