Doggie daycare is becoming more popular. In fact, it has become one of the leading treads among pet owners. Just be sure you check out the facility throughly, ask for references or if you can speak with current customers to get a feel of their satifaction.
Check out their business license, insurance etc, and ask if they assume responsibilty for the cost of medical care if you dog is injuried in daycare.

I work in a doggy daycare part time, and the dogs love it. It's an amazing place for the dogs to get socialized and learn manners. At the place i work at, and most other ones, the dogs are walked, get human interaction, get to play with other dogs, and you can even have a trainer work with your dog if needed. The dogs usually like daycare. Ask if you could have the names of some clients to call for their opinions on the daycare before you leave your puppy there to see if people are happy with the daycare or not.

Yes, this doggy darecare may sound like a good thing, and I know you love your dog, i love my dog, but its a waist of money. The dog is going to have a better interaction if you just take it to the park or on a walk. I put my baby in one for a day, thought it would be fun for her and give me some time without her, and she hated it. she was put into an eviorment she did not know, without her master for support. It was tramatizing for her, and i wasted 40 bucks!

Doggie Daycares are good- keeps your dog happy & they have that " pack" mentality you know. They must be up on their shots & have papers to prove it. If your daycare does not demand vet papers- then do not let your dog stay there. My dog Gunner went to a daycare & had a blast. Good Luck

I work part time in a dog day care..The dogs drag their owners to our door..they love to come back! That says it all..
They get about 10 hours per day of play time, and they make real friends there, and remember each other....Several of the regulars even run to their own kennels! and turn around, like..Hey! I'm back!
When you are searching for the right one, visit first, and ask how many of the dogs are return clients, or regulars..That is a sign of one that the dogs like..

Doggie Daycare is for people who think pets are children and who have more money than brains.
