What product that you wish were available that would make having a dog in your life easier. I thought up of one, such as a robot type dog that could be used as a companion for my dog whenever I am not home, any other ideas of products you wish were created?

I solved the robot dog problem by just getting another dog... The only thing I can think of is a fully funcional bark translator... the ones one the market are about 75% effective on judgeing the emotion of the bark... it's actually very effective as far as determining an aggressive bark vs a play bark vs an excited/hungry bark... etc... I think there was like 6 categories... anyway, something a little more definitive would be great (btw- the bow lingual IS actually very effective!)

I know that i always wished that there was some way to have a system that let them out into the yard every few hours to help cut down on the possibility of accidents in the house. You know, maybe some mechanical way of opening the door, letting them out, and then calling them back in after like 20 minutes. And it has to be semi intelligent cause it has to make sure if there are more than one dog that they are all actually inside. I would be at work and have to pick up another shift (i was a sheriff dispatcher) and i would have to run home and take them out. I realized that i needed to be around the house more if i wanted dogs, but it still would be handy.

This is a tough one...Hmm the robot dog idea sounds cool. I might try that out one day.

When I was single, I wouldleave on Animal Planet for him, or leave on some soothing music. I leave a lot of his toys lying around. It also helps to walk him regularly so he isn't so antsy when you're not home. That way he'll be tired from the night before, and has something to look forward to when you return from work.

Hope this helps!

How about a full size robot. That way when we are not home, or when we are sick we have someone to help us take care of beloved pets.

I have 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 bird, and a 14 month old daughter. Its gets stressful. But don't want to give any of them up!

I don't know if they have this or not but an automatic feeder that allowed you to record you calling the dog to eat.

A home monitor that you could use on your cell to watch what they are doing at any given time.
