I have already tried the most obvious, but unfortunately I have very limited info on him. Basically, his first and last name. I was wondering if there is a website where you can enter your info and see possible relatives of yourself. let me know! Thanks!

I have been finding people for years, over 4000 in the past 5 years. It's usually Private Detective work but I put a HS Reunioin together and couldn't afford their fees for 450 people. I love doing it which is why I have now helped 20+ schools and classes find all of their alums.

I usually know their FULL name and approximate age. That's all I need for ZABASEARCH.com. Zabasearch gives you a list of 100 (same name), but tells you the age of the person at each listing and the date of information (to follow someone who moves a lot).

Depending on how common (Smith) the name is, you may still have some detective work with the list that comes back.

I also use:
* Ancestry.com for tracing a known family tree (siblings, parents that are known)
* KnowX.com to find a person's current residence by property tax rolls, (even when they're tryng to hide)
* Accuan People-Finders to track people thru houses with multiple residents (and apartments) and
* USSearch.com for basic locator (what state is he in?)

I use them all, one after another, developing more and more info about my target person, until I am gut sure, then I start calling the phone numbers. "Hi, I'm calling from the Lottery Commission (or XYZ High School). Does Fred Smith live here still?"

Good luck. If you need help, email me at
