um... this freaky dude just IMed me... keeps asking me weird questions and neatly dodging the ones I ask him... asking me who is home with me and if they can see the screen and stuff like that... I'm scared. Am I being watched by a pedefile or what? Help...

Quit talking to him, it could be a pedefile or a Friend playing a sick joke, do not delete the information he has typed and call a Friend to come over so you are not alone or call your parents to come home. make sure all doors and windows are locked. It may be nothing but unfortunately there are a lot of sick people. put your safety first .If anything strange happens or if you hear anything out of the ordinary call 911 for the police.

Dont ever tell someone anything personal unless you know them. If your home alone get on the phone and have someone come over. Yes the police are an option. It might not be petifile... but if you feel theatened then block the person stop comminucating with them. How would the person know where you are unless you were stupid enough to tell them.and tell this person that your dad is home and a cop... but seriously stop talking to him or her. And dont talk to people you dont know if you do do not ever tell them where you live or your age or anything personal.. that is not being safe. AND NEVER GO MEET SOMEONE You met on line unless your meeting in public place and keep it that way... I mean dont get into a car of someone you really dont know.. I did that like a really stupid dangerious woman and ended up with the freak of the yr.. he turned out to be grandpa the met feind... a yr later I see him on the evening news... had a meth lab in his spare bedroom... was a 63 yr old retired city worker who owned a nice 3 br home and a big expensive truck... but he was full of lies...now I laff but he did tell me that he might have to kill me...

Tell your parents, they will know what to do. Block the person
from e-mailing or IM ing you. That way you won't get harrassed.
But if you choose to have the police involved, make sure you have a witness, when you get online, and you can trap him...if he's really a weirdo perv, he needs to be off the streets! You just
might save someone else's life...you never know. It could be
nothing, or it could be something. Be brave and DO something
about it. Test him, see what he wants......if you don't want to do
anything...that's ok. But doing something about non-humans like
that takes real courage. Take Care.

Listen unless you want this sicko to have his way with you, you need to get a backbone and report him. Men like that have this thing where they imagine that you want them and any attention that you give to them (good or bad) can end up a bad ordeal. My advice to you is tell some one about him and give all details. Call the cops and file a report so if anything happens they know who they are looking for.

He might be asking if anybody can see the screen because he wants to send you porn or pics of himself.Don't answer anymore of his questions,and block IM's from him.If he doesn't leave you alone,call the cops.

Stop talking to him/her and contact your web providers security page to report this person. They will be able to bring a record of your conversations up and report them to the local authorities.
