I'm worried , cause I know no one cut them and I know fire didn't do it , cause I never use fire around him, is it normal for him to have short whiskers or something is wrong , will they grow when he is older? What can cause him to have short whiskers.

Kittens usually don't have long whiskers. When I looked at the baby kittens the other day at the shelter compared to my 15 year old cat at my parents house, the kittens whiskers were shorter since they are smaller. My 15 year old cat had longer whiskers and he is bigger.

So basically, the whiskers will grow when the kitten does :) No need to worry!

Not to worry. Your kitten is fine. They will grow longer as he/she grows wider.

By the way, the reason for a cat's whiskers? The total width of the whiskers equals the width of the cat. When he comes to an opening his whiskers cannot go through without touching, the cat will not go through. The whiskers' touching tells him he will not fit. And, Yes, my fat Suzie cat had looooong whiskers.

Whiskers to a cat are like antena. it is how they can tell if they can fit into tight spaces or not. have you ever seen a cat get stuck? kitens usually have short whiskers because the width of their body is so small, but really it is nothing to worry about. they will get longer

Don't worry. Cat's whiskers are like eyelashes on humans. As long as he still has whiskers he's okay.

i wouldnt worry to much about it, its really not abnormal for a cat to be born with short whiskers they will probablly grow, but if you are still worried take him to the vet and ask him about it.

Whiskers are like eyelashes on humans. Each person (cat) grows different lengths.
He may grow his longer or he may just have short stubby ones, what ever he grows is just right for him and you shouldn't worry.
Cheers.

that's normal. your kitten's whiskers will grow with him, and whiskers on cats vary. my cat's whiskers are really long, and she's perfectly normal.
