I have had my nose pierced twice before. The first time they used a horseshoe shaped barbell with spikes on the ends. The second time they used just a nose bone. This time, they used a screw.

So here's my deal. Screws are a pain in the butt to put in. I don't think I should buy another one because what if I take this one out and can't get either one back in again?

But, I'm afraid that if I get a nose bone or pin, that it'll fall out.

I have noticed that there are some nose screws that are made out of a flexible material. See http://www.bodycandy.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?item=15356

Has anyone used these before? Are they easier to put in than a metal nose screw?

Nosescrews are definitely the best sort of jewelry, if you're looking for something small and feminine, that will stay in place.

There is a picture that shows how to take out a nose screw at: http://www.voguebodypiercing.com/img/Nostril04.gif

Just do the reverse to put it back in. Practice with it until you get the hang of it. Keep trying until you're comfortable with it :)

I've tried using the flexible ones and they're about the same as the metal ones.

The nose screw on your link is on a bendable plastic stem they are comfortable, but I prefer just a plain nose bone a good quality one, I have had a titanium one in for over a year, and the only time it has fallen out is if it gets caught on the towel or face cloth. I have to say I totally agree with you on the nose screw they are a pain in the you know what to take out and put back in.

It is desirable to put a single stone nose screw which has a stud at the top which is is to be inserted thro'the hole and a small screw which fits into the stud inside the nose.I find absolutely no problems wearing the nose screws .

When I have a stud in I have a little one that looks like an "L" shape with a stud on the end of the long side. It's really simple to put in, but when I rub my nose its easy to come out.

Thats why I prefer a small ring.

I have had my nosed pierced twice.... The straight nose bones fall out nd arent good if you havent had your nose pierced that long.... I havent tied the scews but i like the L shaped ones.. There pretty easy to get in and out.... When you first get ityou kind of have to play with it till it feels comfortable in your nose... & if the tip of the jewlery sticks out of your nose then you should go to a tatto shop and have them trim it so it will fit poperly.

I use the nose bone. Never tried the screw before, but the one on your link looks like it might not be too uncomfortable. Worth a try.

I got my nose pierced about 3 weeks ago.
They put a L shaped stud in.
I have had no problems with it.
It sorta sits up against your nose.
The fliexible ones, i heard arent very good.
They hurt worse becuase of it being a gauge.
But personally i like the stud's better.
I think the rings dont look at good.
They sorta look trashy.
No offense if you like them.

get a 22kt gold nose ring , its one piece very thing wire type with , so u insert from the top and adjust to fit the inside of ur nose. I cant live without it, i wear it since i was 4 but then its a part of my culture , but yeah look for authentic indian gold jewellers..

dont use cheap ones like 10 dollars worth. get a good one like 50 or 60 bucks worth.

I just have a small silver stud it has a tiny ball on the back, yep it kinda hurts to get it in but once it is in, it's in. I have had mine for years and have never lost it or had it fall or be pulled out. Good luck.

its ur choise yet whilst u get a striaght one its person-friendly for it to fall out in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it doesnt harm as plenty to take it out or a cork screw is complicated to fall out yet its a ***** to get lower back in
