Religions, like adverts, work only because someone is interested. There was a particularly good episode of The Simpsons, about it, one of the Treehouse of Terror ones. The moment the last person who worships a god dies, or gives up religion, religion will banish in the air.

ya know I came across an interesting concept a couple weeks ago I think it was, about how the mark of the beast may not be literall microchip implant, but a choice of the true sabbath, Saturday or Sunday. Saturday being the true day of worship and rest, while Sunday being the day the Roman Catholic church under their own theology changed the day, which isnt stated in scripture. So as to you go on Saturday in your own way during the tribulation somehow ur cool, jus end up beheaded. Or if you go on Sundays you accepted their mark, I.E. you have to carry around a card or fingerprint scan that proves you attended sunday to buy, sell, work all the stuff it says. interesting thing I came across you, but you cant cancel anything out for sure, plus I dont plan to be around to find out :)

there's two ways of looking at this.
1st you think in only one way and say three's a one real god. so if you don't believe in him then every one will go to hell.

2nd to think about all the religions and they are faith based then yes the religion and its god would go away and never be. so sad.

but what if there are gods that have to work for the religion to keep us. they need to do some stuff to keep our faith like bring rain or send a miracle that they can take credit for. then the people keep thinking hes there and things are cool. but if the god/ gods don't do any thing and are lazy they get killed because no one is thinking about them any more.

god working for us funny to think about.

If nobody worshiped, then they would suffer the concequences of the non believers as in Revelations. I honestly don't think this will ever happen though.

Why ask such questions? Why not ask if everybody believed in Santa Claus would that make him real? What if you found out tomorrow that God was real and you were wasting the life He gave you? Would you change your ways and begin to live to please HIM?
