I put this up here since I know many dont know this detail and didnt want anyone to have to go thru such a misfortune when you had no idea.

Oh wow I didnt know that when I lived in california i had grape vines in my backyard. my dogs used to eat all the grapes all the time luckily nothing happened to my dogs. they never even got sick from them. but thanks for the info i keep the grapes and peach pits away from my dog.

They cause kidney failure in some dogs. Not all. However they can die in as short as 30 minutes or as long as the next day for the ones it affects. That's just a game of Russian Roulette to play with your best friends life so NO DOG should eat them.

This is a relatively new revelation to the medical world. Keep grapes and raisins away from your dogs!

My dog ate a ton of my neighbors grapes that had fallen to the ground. I didn't think much of it because she eats grass all the time, but after a while she started vomitting and vomitting and vomitting (NOT the grass kind of vomit, either). She's fine now, but that's how I found out they are bad.

I have to say i didn't know anything about grapes and raisins being poison for dogs. I used to let my dog eat the odd grape when he saw us having them but he used to play with them more than eat them and didn't have more than one or two anyway.

They are deadly. A friends dog ate her box of raisens and died from poisoning a few days later.

I don't think they would even want them but if they do I don't think it would be a very good idea to give them very many since it might cause diarriea

animals of any type should never eat fruit,it can cause them to get worms in their intestinal track.also never give a animal chocolate that will cause brain damage,expecialy to dogs.
