this is a very weird and unique situation, i like my counsler, shes gorgeous and shes a really good person with a good head on her shoulders,and i want to be with her but im not sure if she likes me,theres been some signs but nothing for sure. and im scared if i ask her or say anything it will mess up our friendship but at the same time i want to see if we can be more than friends, so what do i do?

I have a crush on my councillor too. Apparently it's not uncommon. You bare your soul to someone of the opposite sex, & you can't help but feel like there's a relationship, because there is, but it's not really the romantic kind. The fact that she's gorgeous doesn't help. Mine's pretty cute too.
But you have to realize something. It's their job to be nurturing & caring. If you declare your love to her, it won't mess up your friendship because there isn't one, not really. Professionally, she can't carry on ANY kind of a relationship with you outside of the client/councellor one that you have now.
She is probably well aware of the feelings that you are developing for her, because it's her job to know, & she's been trained on what to do about it. As long as you can keep your feelings in check, then she'll probably continue to see you. But if you go over the top, & start to think that you two have a romantic future together, then she's very likely going to refer you to another councellor, & I'll bet she'll recommend that it be a male councellor this time.
Your situation is neither weird, nor unique. I highly doubt that your councellor wants to date you. But she would probably like to keep you as a client, if you can control yourself.

Lots of therapists have their patients get crushes on them. It's natural. But, don't act on your feelings. She's probably super friendly and caring and kind, etc., but a good part of that has to do with your therapy, I'm sure. If you can't get past this, find another counselor - preferably male. You have issues that need your full attention. You won't progress if you have a crush on your therapist.

we all fall in love with our counslers. no matter what the age. it's because they know alot about us. and that makes us feel comfy with them. but this feeling is a fanthom. not real. you counsler is devoted to make you feel better in the medical sence, that's all. stay on the business side of this, and keep in mind that if you ever approached her, she would let you go to another counsler.

If this is a mental health counselor, she will go to jail if she dates you. It is against the law! She can not date a patient!
So leave her alone! Do not embarrass your self.
It is not unusual for a patient to fall for their counselor. But if you tell her how you feel, she will have to dump you as a patient.

You are probably mistaking her signals which are trying to boost your self confidence for sexual attraction. If she is hot, and has a good paying job, you can probably gurantee that she has a hot husband with a good paying job that she goes home to and screws passionately and really hard

Ask her to come out for a night with yourself and some friends... That way its a "friendly" invitation, as opposed to a "date". Then just see what happens and go from there :) Works every time!

Whoa..that's totally stepping over boundaries. Counselors are NOT supposed to date their patients, so get that thought out of your mind.

You can't DATE your consular its AGAINST THE LAW!!!!! All consulars are suppose to like you even if you r the stupidest person in the world!
