I am a middle school teacher I have two couples in my class. ( i teach at a small school) I guess they just tell each others friends that the other likes them and then their friends do the work. thats how we did it in middle school., but you can just be honest and tell the person yourself. "hi, my name is ________-. I wanted to know if I could get your number so I could call you sometime. There it is! Good luck!

Hang around with a group. Date in the day time. Enjoy family activities together.

i agree with the first one, wait until high school. dating in high school is much better, mostly cuz you have money, and then later the car, to be able to go on dates and stuff.

Having some definite place and time would be better:
"Hey, I'd like to hang out with you. Want to go to the movies on Saturday?"

definatly a group date first. the movies is ALWAYS good.
just walk up to her and be like
"hey a bunch of us are goin to the mivies friday...do you wanna come with me?"
