Two words... PEANUT BUTTER. Creamy, crunchy, extra crunchy... your choice... but LOTS of it. I have always been very thin. At 5'8" I weighed between 98 and 104 from the age of 14 until I was almost 30 and had 3 children. At 31 I average a whopping 114, my metabolism is normal, no eating disorder- just very small bone frame. One of my sisters decided I should gain a few pounds and the nursing home she worked at added peanut butter to the diets of residents who didn't or couldn't eat well to bring up their weight when it fell too drastically. So, she bribed me into drinking a peanut butter shake that was made form vanilla ice cream, peanut butter, and sweetened condensed milk, and eating 4 tablespoons of peanut butter a day in addition. Just globs of peanut butter... right off the spoon.... To this day, I can't even stand the smell of it, or the sight of some-one eating it....
This is a healthy way to gain, because peanut butter is high in protein and iron, and has no sugars to interfere with diabetes or any other low sugar diets. It's also very inexpensive and requires little time and effort.

Buddy you don't want to be fat. You want bulk. But not fat. Those aren't the same. Here's what you do. Get a lot of protein, drink milk often, eat a lot of meat (if that's not against your beliefs or whatnot) and at the same time, work out. Yep. You heard it. But you don't want to lose weight, i hear ya. What you do is you lift weights. Make your reps slow and few and make sure you're lifting as heavy as you can. Don't do light, many, and fast - because that's for trimming, not bulking up. Don't leave out Cardio workouts because you have to have a healthy heart, lungs, and all that too. But do more weights than cardio (maybe make your work out sessions 95% weights, 5% cardio). I suppose you can take those bulk/performance enhancing formulas, but i don't like em. They make me feel like i'm cheating. Good luck!

muscles weighs more than fat so work out and you'll gain. you could always try some protein shakes. and if you're really worried about it then have a chat with your doc to see if he/she has any alternatives.
