All kids walk at their own pace of milestone achievement
Don't worry too much, he'll be walking soon, just give him time!
Don't push it, he'll do it on his own... you just need to stop worrying or comparing him to other children!

My son was almost two when he walked. I ended up buying him a little push truck so he could get around. He used it for a long time. Eventually he walked on his own. If it makes you feel better take him to his doctor in a few months to rule out anything else. I was worried myself but it was nothing. Now he is nine and into all kinds of sports and is always on the go.

Generally between 10 and 18 months, but it really depends on the child. Some children are not able to get tummy time till they're older. As a result they crawl and walk later. Talk with your pediatrician if you're concerned, but at this age I would not worry.

I had 5 and my oldest dd not start walking until 14 mos. I did not have transportation at the time and it was easier to carry him than to make him walk. believe me he took advantage and "let" me carry him as long as I would. Children start to do things in their own time. I am guessing that he is crawling so do not worry about it. He may just need a little more time to feel secure about walking.

He will learn to walk eventually. My nephew did not walk on his own until he was almost 2. They doc said that boys don't develop as fast as girls and not to worry. He is 4 now and just fine. Also if he is a big baby his muscles may not be ready to carry the weight.

Some kids just start walking later than others, but if you're worried or he's showing signs of something else being wrong with him, take him to a pediatrician.

well my friend was worried about the same thing her daughter is 14 mos and when she took her to the dr. her dr. said if she's not walking by 18 mos then they might worry about it but a lot of kids still don't walk until like 18 mos. old, so i wouldn't worry about it until ur dr. says.

If your dr. has found no problem, I say enjoy the rest while you can! As soon as he figures out he can walk, you'll be chasing him all over.
