No. You got it all wrong! A border is just a border, but the real meaning is in the law. One side of ther border is Mexico, and the other side of the border is the United States of America.

If Mexican people want to emigrate, they should do so in a lawful way. You can't just say "this used to be Mexico" and cross the border illegally.

Which part of "illegal" do you not understand? Much of the blame falls on the Mexican government rather than the people. The Mexican government should invest in its people and focus on the economy rather than depending on its people to just flee to another country.
